Job Description:
ElevateLYF is seeking motivated and empathetic individuals to join our team as Customer Support Interns. This remote internship will provide you with valuable experience in the mental health industry and an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our clients. As a Customer Support Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and support to individuals seeking counseling services.
Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries: Interact with clients and potential clients via email, chat, and phone to provide prompt and empathetic responses to their questions and concerns.
Assist with client onboarding: Guide clients through the registration process, ensuring accurate and complete information is obtained and inputted into our systems.
Schedule appointments: Coordinate and schedule counseling sessions between clients and our team of mental health professionals, ensuring availability and optimal utilization of resources.
Manage client records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to relevant data protection policies.
Collaborate with the counseling team: Liaise with our mental health counselors to address client inquiries, provide necessary information, and facilitate a seamless customer experience.
Troubleshoot technical issues: Assist clients in navigating our online platforms and troubleshoot any technical difficulties they may encounter.
Provide resource information: Share appropriate resources, educational materials, and self-help tools to clients, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
Support administrative tasks: Assist with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, reporting, and other projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of empathy and patience.
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a professional and compassionate manner.
Proficiency in using technology platforms, such as email, chat, and phone systems, as well as the ability to learn new software quickly.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
A strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
An understanding of mental health and a genuine interest in supporting individuals on their mental health journey.
Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate client needs, including some evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
This internship is a remote position and will require a commitment of 45 hours per week, for a duration of 3 months. The internship is unpaid; however, we will provide a valuable learning experience, mentorship, and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
